Creating a unified brand experience

Voi is the largest European e-scooter operator in the market.
Through its Android and IOS app, it allows to smoothly rent an e-scooter or an e-bike simply with a tap on your phone.

The problem


Despite starting as a young startup, Voi has successfully evolved into a market leader within a span of less than three years. However, during this accelerated growth, Voi has faced challenges in establishing a cohesive brand identity that truly represents its vision and values.

The scope


As part of the in-house team, our goal was to create a unified brand experience that would bring together all the different elements of the brand. To ensure accessibility throughout the organisation and beyond, we developed a brand portal that incorporated guidelines, templates, and assets.

Branded assets

I played an active role in the design process, contributing through conducting internal and competitor audits, proposing new design approaches, and actively participating in discussions and decision-making throughout the project.
Once the visual direction of the brand was determined, I took on the responsibility of creating templates for print designs and offline branding.

Icons

I curated a premium icon collection and expanded it by creating over a hundred new icons to meet the product and marketing requirements.

Art direction

To bring our brand story to life, I assumed the role of art directing the creation of new photography assets and providing on-site direction to the photography crew. My objective was to establish a consistent visual expression by creating a comprehensive image library that could be effectively utilised across all our brand communication channels.
